What is the main difference between Blue Bell Comprehensive Care PC and other general primary care practices?

 

o   Blue Bell Comprehensive Care PC provides patients with access to their physician every day of     the week along with extended office visits without waiting.  The emphasis will be on preventive care with time to address multiple issues.  Patients will experience little or no waiting, and same day appointments.

 

 What does this service cost?

 

o   The annual membership fee is $2,000.00 a year. You can pay annually or take part in a monthly payment plan of $200.00 per month for ten months with no interest. Please contact Blue Bell Comprehensive Care PC for details.

 

 Does my health insurance cover the annual enrollment fee?

 

o   Commercial insurance plans do not cover the Blue Bell Comprehensive Care PC fee. It is recommended that each patient continues to utilize their current insurance coverage.  The patient will still need to have their insurance for any hospital services or special care. 

 

How do I reach my doctor after hours in case of emergency?

 

o   After the core office hours which are 8:30 to 5:30, the phone is transferred directly to Dr Corsons cell phone. You will be able to speak with him immediately at any time of the day or night without having to wait for a message service or answering machine to have him call you back.

 

 What happens when my doctor gets sick or is on vacation?

 

o   If for any reason, Dr. Corson is not available, another qualified physician will be available to treat you.

 

 When can I schedule appointments?

 

o   You can schedule appointments at any time. The patient has the ability to schedule same or next day appointments.

 

What do I do when I need a specialist?

 

o   The Blue Bell Comprehensive Care PC staff will coordinate any referrals and follow-up with the specialist after your exam is completed.

 

What do I do in the case of an emergency?

 

o   Blue Bell Comprehensive Care PC provides the availability of house calls, if medically necessary. In addition, Dr. Corson can meet you at the hospital to facilitate your care there.

 

 I frequently spend 6 months out of the year in Florida. Would it still be a benefit to sign up for this type of practice?

 

o   Yes. If you spend a lengthy period away from our practice, Dr. Corson will coordinate your care with the best physicians and hospitals in your area. In addition, Dr. Corson has the ability to send your medical records to any physician or hospital in the world, immediately upon request. Regardless of your residence Dr. Corson is dedicated to your care and can always be reached for any questions you may have.

 

 What if I want to end my relationship with Blue Bell Comprehensive Care?

 

o   You may cancel your membership at anytime pro rata.

 

 How Blue Bell Comprehensive Care PC Works With Your Traditional Health Insurer?

 

o   Blue Bell Comprehensive Care PC is a full service membership program that is designed to work in conjunction with your traditional health care plan.

 

o   If you are a Medicare recipient and Medicare is your primary health insurer you must maintain your Medicare health insurance coverage. You will need to continue to use Medicare for any visits with medical specialists or for hospital and lab services. Dr. Corson has voluntarily agreed not to be compensated by Medicare for any services rendered. You will not be responsible for any Medicare co-pays or deductible when you visit Dr. Corson. (You will still be responsible for Medicare co-pays or deductibles if you need to visit the hospital or a specialist).
