INTRODUCING....
JoAnn Laputka, Patient Facilitator

The first person you are likely to see as you enter the offices of Blue Bell Comprehensive Care is JoAnn Laputka, whose warm and welcoming smile sets the tone for our entire approach to patient care. A true people person who recently celebrated her 15th anniversary as an associate of Dr. Corson, JoAnn is responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, responding to telephone calls, and ensuring that your visit is as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
A long-time admirer of Dr. Barry, JoAnn was a patient back in 1989 when, coincidentally, she noticed a help-wanted ad for a part-time medical receptionist in Dr. Corson's office. She interviewed on a Sunday, the rapport was instant, and the rest, as they say, is history. On board full-time since 1997, JoAnn says, "I love my job, I love the people, and I admire Dr. Corson's philosophy of medicine. I feel like I'm part of a family."
INTRODUCING
Cindy Goldstein, Medical Assistant

In 1987 Cindy Goldstein made the fateful decision to join Dr. Barry Corson's medical practice. Eighteen years later, though our world is a very different place, Cindy's commitment to healing is as passionate as ever. I love what I do, she says. Whether I'm monitoring vital signs, drawing blood, giving injections, responding to telephone calls or taking histories, I love working with patients to promote their good health.
A 1969 graduate of St. Lukes Medical Technology program, Cindy is a skilled problem-solver who continues to be fascinated by medicine. She is also a breast cancer survivor and ardent supporter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
INTRODUCING
Sandy Warner, Office Manager

Long before she became the official Office Manager, well before she assumed responsibility for marketing projects, management systems and ensuring that the office runs as smoothly as possible, Sandy Warner was actively involved in establishing Blue Bell Comprehensive Care. From site assessment and space allocation to office furnishings and decor, Sandy was instrumental in implementing Dr. Corson's vision of a new level of care and an old level of caring.
Prior to her association with Blue Bell Comprehensive Care, Sandy enjoyed a 21-year career working with, setting up and installing software systems for financial institutions throughout the United States. Variously described as competent, pragmatic and fearless, Sandy Warner is the go-to person for anything related to the office. As they say, she keeps the lights on.
INTRODUCING
Carol Corson, Billing Administrator

If you noticed that the names are the same... and that there is a bit of a familial resemblance...and if you wondered if they might be related...well...the answer is...yes! Carol Corson and Barry Corson are sister and brother and she has known him...forever. They've only begun working together recently, however, since Carol pursued a career in sales and business while Barry was focusing on medicine.
Carol's love of antiques finding, buying and selling was the foundation for her Hallmark Collectible Store and for her fine reputation as an antiques dealer. But timing, as they say, is everything. As she was contemplating a less active role in the antiques business, the plans for Blue Bell Comprehensive Care were on the drawing board, and Carol's business experience made her the perfect person to implement the required billing procedures.
